Alisa Geiser is a writer and filmmaker based in Boulder, Colorado. She’s worked in media for the past decade+, serving at magazines, book publishing houses, as a documentarian, and in the agency world. Through her work, Alisa seeks to illuminate universal qualities found in unfamiliar subjects, with the ultimate goal of promoting positive growth in individuals and society.
Today, Alisa focuses on short-form documentary films, as well as creating digital content and campaigns for mission-driven entities. The crowdfunding efforts she’s helped build and run have garnered international attention and raised millions of dollars for social causes. She serves as creative director of the Born Wild Project, is represented by Foundry Literary + Media and holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
