In All My Relations (Mitakuye Oyasin), photographer Aaron Huey portrays both the broken social landscape and the ceremonial warrior culture of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. This body of work goes far beyond the obvious, and over documented, poverty and into the world of the tribe’s visions and dreams. The Super Limited Edition includes on original cover by Shepard Fairey & Aaron Huey, a collection of Lakota Heyoka Stanley Good Voice Elk’s vision drawings & letter-pressed oral histories, and reproductions of other art and archival objects provided by the subjects of the book. I carefully selected materials, printing & production methods, and design approaches that would allow the most realistic reproduction of original objects, ensure museum quality, and best represent the raw beauty of the work.
